Welcome to Creative Embellishments Handmade

Welcome to Creative Embellishments Handmade first blog post. I figured I would start with a little backstory of how we came to this point. A few years ago I wanted to do something a little different themed for my Christmas tree. Steampunk is my favorite and different so wanted to put a spin on it. My hubby designed a few steampunk ornaments for the Creative Embellishments store. Along with a bunch of other designs I came up with to cut out of chipboard to go with that theme. I altered a bunch of our products and made them into ornaments for my tree. I shared on FB and got a huge response to them. Not all my friends on FB are into the arts or scrapbooking and so many asked me if I was selling them. At that point I was so busy with Creative Embellishments and focusing on designing and manufacturing aspect of the business.  My daughter Kayla has been helping with poking and packaging and shown a lot of interest in the arts as well.
